This morning began with a clear, cloudless sky. The Earth was clean and cool after being washed by a good rain last night. By afternoon the winds blew in a sampling of clouds for us to identify as budding scientists.
Cirrus clouds are very high above Earth. Wispy and feathery, they bring no rain.
Cumulus clouds are puffy and round.
