We read several books about veterans and their service to our country. The children of Room 124 wrote letters to Mr. Hoffman, a veteran of World War II. We hope he may visit us one day at school.
We use these words all the time when we write. It was time to take a closer look while practicing using Capital letters at the beginning of sentences and periods at the end of them. Many of the students go that extra mile when practicing new skills. They read and write more than
Registration cards in hand the voters came to vote for a winner. Would it be the Strawberry, Good for you and so delicious dipped in chocolate? Or would the winner be Corn, so versatile, able to be baked into cornbread, eaten in soups and yummy as corn on the cob and when popped as popcorn?
