I am not pictured because, well, I am taking the pictures. However, I did walk one Mile with some new friends who attended Patton School long ago! HI friends and Families of Room 124! I plan to Move it on Saturday, April 13 in the 1 Mile walk that begins at 9 am. I hope you 'll consider participating and/or letting your child walk with me in this event as well because it will be lots of fun and the proceeds go to a great cause -- our classrooms and schools! Here is a link to the flyer. You may register online, but please send a note with your child if he/she is participating and we'll arrange a place to meet so we can walk together. http://jmichallengeah.org. The flyer lists times and other special activities that you can check out with your child. The count down begins now!!
Students will be taking their chaperones on a Field Museum Scavenger hunt, exploring areas in the museum that we have been studying: Africa, Ancient Egypt as well as animals that they have researched online. Stay tuned for their documentation of their experience on Thursday.
