We've been studying Fruits and their seeds. Can you identify the fruit that holds these seeds?5/22/2013 The ProScope gives us an up close view. We see seeds in a whole new way! Check out the Greenbrier Fun Run/Walk with Proceeds going to Northwest Community Hospital PediatricsYour children can predict where numbers belong on a number grid by paying close attention to the patterns seen in rows and columns on the number grid. When writing their scrolls, many follow these patterns to check their accuracy. Number scrolls have been filled in into the 1,000's by some eager beavers! When adding 20 to another number, we don't count by ones anymore! we count, "10, 20," and we are there! Room 124 students are such amazing scientists. They are able to use science terminology to describe what happens with the needle of a compass. We discovered that the needle MUST be magnetized because we tested it with another magnet near by. The red part of the compass repels another magnet! This proves it is not made of magnetic material, but an actual magnet itself! We went outside Wednesday to find North and mark the cardinal directions. |
